Sasquatch Tree Services provides professional tree care services to residential customers in Cache County, Utah, including:

- Tree removal
- Stump grinding and removal
We also operate a self-service online bid request system that allows customers to submit project information and receive estimates.
Scope Limitations: We provide tree services only. We do not offer landscaping, lawn care, or other non-tree-related services.
3. Use of Website and Bid Request System
3.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts to use our services. By using our website, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3.2 Acceptable Use
You agree to use our website and bid request system only for lawful purposes. You may not:

4. Bids and Estimates
4.1 Nature of Bids
Bids provided through our online system or in person are estimates based on available information. They are:
- Non-binding until you accept and we confirm the project in writing
- Valid for 30 days from the date issued (unless otherwise specified)
- Subject to change if actual conditions differ significantly from what was represented
4.2 Acceptance of Bids
A bid becomes a binding agreement when:
- You accept our bid in writing (email confirmation, signed agreement, etc.)
- We confirm the project and schedule in writing
- Both parties agree to the scope and price
4.3 Pricing and Payment
- Accuracy: We strive to provide accurate bids, but prices may be adjusted if site conditions differ from what was represented or if additional work is discovered
- Changes: Any changes to scope or pricing require mutual written agreement

- Late Payments: Late payments may incur interest charges and/or collection fees as permitted by law
5. Service Delivery and Access
5.1 Property Access
By engaging our services, you grant us:
- Access to your property for the duration of the project
- Permission to use driveways, yards, and necessary areas to complete the work
- Right to temporarily store equipment on your property during the project
5.2 Obstructions and Utilities
You are responsible for:
- Identifying and disclosing underground utilities, sprinkler systems, or other hidden obstructions
- Removing valuable or fragile items from work areas
- Securing pets during work hours
- Providing accurate information about property boundaries and easements
Damage from Undisclosed Obstructions: We are not liable for damage to underground utilities, sprinkler systems, or other obstructions you failed to disclose.
5.3 Work Schedule
We will make reasonable efforts to complete work within estimated timeframes, but schedules may be affected by:
- Weather conditions
- Equipment availability
- Unforeseen complications
- Emergency projects taking priority
We will communicate schedule changes promptly.
6. Cancellations and Changes
6.1 Customer Cancellations
You may cancel or reschedule work by providing reasonable notice:
- Before work begins: No cancellation fee if you provide at least 24 hours' notice
- Day of scheduled work: Cancellation fee may apply if we have already mobilized equipment
- After work has started: You are responsible for payment for work completed
6.2 Our Right to Refuse or Cancel
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel service if:
- Property conditions are unsafe for our crew
- You provided false or misleading information
- You violate these Terms
- Weather or other factors make work impractical or unsafe
7. Liability and Insurance
7.1 Our Insurance
Sasquatch Tree Services maintains general liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance as required by law.
7.2 Limitation of Liability
Property Damage: We take reasonable care to protect your property during tree work. We are responsible for damage directly caused by our negligence but are NOT liable for:
- Pre-existing property damage or conditions
- Damage from undisclosed underground utilities or obstructions
- Damage from natural tree fall patterns beyond our control
- Damage to lawns from necessary equipment access (reasonable wear is expected)
- Damage caused by acts of God, severe weather, or other unforeseeable circumstances
Maximum Liability: Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.
7.3 Your Property Insurance
We recommend reviewing your homeowner's insurance policy to ensure adequate coverage for tree work and potential property damage.
7.4 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Sasquatch Tree Services harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your breach of these Terms
- False or misleading information you provided
- Your failure to disclose property conditions or hazards
8. Safety and Hazards
8.1 Hazardous Trees
If we determine that a tree presents extreme hazards not evident from bid information, we reserve the right to:
- Stop work until we can reassess
- Revise pricing to account for additional risk and specialized techniques
- Decline to complete the work if it exceeds our safety capabilities
8.2 Unexpected Hazards
Tree work can uncover unexpected hazards (rot, structural issues, wildlife nests, etc.). If we encounter hazards during work:
- We will inform you immediately
- We may need to adjust our approach or pricing
- We will not proceed with altered work without your approval
9. Debris and Cleanup
9.1 What's Included
Unless otherwise specified, our services include:
- Removal of cut branches and wood
- Grinding wood chips into mulch (for stump grinding)
- Reasonable cleanup of work areas
9.2 What's Not Included (Unless Specified)
- Hauling away wood chips or mulch (unless requested)
- Filling stump holes with soil
- Grass seed or landscaping restoration
- Cleanup of debris not related to our work
9.3 Wood and Mulch
Unless otherwise agreed:
- We retain ownership of removed wood and may haul it away or leave it stacked on your property (your choice, specified in bid)
- Wood chips from stump grinding will be left on-site unless you request removal
10. Intellectual Property
10.1 Website Content
All content on our website (text, images, logos, design) is owned by Sasquatch Tree Services or licensed to us. You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without permission
- Use our trademarks or logos without written authorization
- Create derivative works based on our website
10.2 Photos You Submit
When you upload photos through our bid system:
- You retain ownership of your photos
- You grant us a limited license to use photos solely for assessing your project and providing bids
- We will not use your photos for marketing without your explicit written consent
11. Privacy and Data Use
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

12. Warranties and Disclaimers
12.1 Service Warranty
We warrant that:
- Services will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner
- Our crew is trained and equipped to perform tree services safely

12.2 No Other Warranties
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED, WE PROVIDE SERVICES "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
12.3 Nature of Tree Work
You acknowledge that:
- Tree work involves inherent risks and unpredictability
- Trees are living organisms and their internal condition may not be visible
- No guarantee can be made about a tree's future health or stability after trimming
- Stump grinding may not prevent all regrowth
13. Dispute Resolution
13.1 Informal Resolution
If you have a complaint or dispute, please contact us first. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve issues amicably.
13.2 Arbitration
If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you agree that disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than court litigation, except for:
- Small claims court disputes (under jurisdictional limits)
- Claims seeking injunctive relief
Arbitration Rules: Arbitration will be conducted under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in Cache County, Utah.
13.3 Class Action Waiver
You agree to bring claims only in your individual capacity and not as part of any class or representative action.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action must be brought in the courts of Cache County, Utah.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any written service agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sasquatch Tree Services regarding our services.
